Privacy Policy Summary

  • Except for when we are legally required to (subpoenas, warrants, and other court orders), we will not share your email address or any other personal information with anybody outside of shareHub, ever. Period.

Most sites today have big, indecipherable policy documents written by lawyers which only other lawyers can actually understand. We don’t like those any more than you do.

ShareHub believes in making everything simple. That includes our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy statements. Unfortunately, our own lawyers have insisted that we need big, indecipherable policy documents, mostly to protect us from other lawyers. If you really want to read them, the full Terms of Service document is available here, and the full Privacy Policy document is available here. To be honest, we really have no idea what most of it means, but the lawyers say the documents are okay. They’re paid to do that sort of thing.

So what we’ve done is created plain-English summaries of the Lawyerese used in the policy documents, and posted them here. When you use shareHub, you agree to everything as detailed in the full documents, but if you follow the guidelines in the summaries, you won’t run into any trouble while using our service.

If you have any difficulty understanding these guidelines or need any clarifications, please feel free to contact us.
